In order to enforce the right of data subjects to their personal data, the KVK respects the principles of data protection law, including:

• processes personal data lawfully and fairly and in a way that is transparent to the data subject ("lawfulness, due process, transparency");

• processes personal data only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes ("purpose limitation principle");

• only process personal data that is appropriate and relevant to the purposes of the data processing, to the extent necessary ("data protection principle");

• ensure the accuracy and, where necessary, the up-to-dateness of personal data and take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal data which are inaccurate for the purposes of data processing are erased or rectified without delay ("accuracy principle");

• store personal data in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed ("principle of limited storage");

• process personal data in such a way as to ensure adequate security of personal data, protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage to personal data ("principle of integrity and confidentiality") by means of appropriate technical or organizational measures;

• the processing of personal data is carried out by the KVK in such a way that it is able to demonstrate compliance with the above principles by the principle of accountability ”).
